A park ranger, BMW owner and former Texan at the tourist
information center in Williams, Arizona directed us to
Cataract Lake, a National
Forest Campground very near Williams, Arizona. It was primitive but seemed like
an OK place to me. A couple of the campers there seem to creep Anna out a
little though and gave her reservation about this place. I offered to go
elsewhere but she thought she would be OK. All did turn out well but,
unfortunately for Anna, this was the first evidence of some fears that would be
driven to the surface in the days and miles ahead. |
