| Most of the summer Jackson Glacier remains buried under tons of snow from the past winter. As the snows of winter melt away, feeding the St Mary river and St Mary Lake, the ice of the glacier is finally revealed as you can begin to see here. Unfortunately, modern environmental warming issues are contributing to the rapid demise of the glaciers. |
